Melalui proses penciptaan film ini, saya mempertanyakan banyak hal tentang bagaimana manusia memaknai hubungan. Tanah di mana tempat kita tinggal saat ini terus mendekat dan menjauh, seperti debur-debut ombok di pinggir pantai. Manusia bercita-cita agar dapat menemukan cara terbaik untuk terhubing dengan diri sendiri, orang lain, dan lingkungan sekitarnya.
Merespon tema keterhubungan yang digagas oleh A_PART, saya merasa ada kefanaan kefanaan dalam cara manusia memaknai jarak dan hubungan. Berbagai macam upaya untuk menciptakan inovasi danpemikiran termutakhir dilakukan oleh manusia demi mendekatkan jarak yang sebetulnya sangat ilusif.
Apakah teknologi dan kebijakan yang kita bangun dewasa ini mempercanggih kualitas hubungan kita? Saya tanyakan itu kepada batu dan sungai yang mungkin tidak pernah berpikir tentang itu namun tetap mengalir bersama.
Through the creation of this film, I question things about how one values the idea of a relationship. The land of our homes keeps coming closer and further, like sea waves on the beach. Humans envision finding the best way to connect with themselves, others, and their surroundings.
Responding to the theme of connectivity initiated by A_PART, I feel there is impermanence in how humans put a value on distance and relationships. We have been pushed ourselves to find various kinds of efforts to create innovation and discourse for the sake of pulling a very illusory distance.
Do the technologies and policies we create in this time has help us to improve the quality of our relationships? I asked it to rocks and river, which perhaps never think of it but are always streaming together.
